Oxford University's Programme in Comparative Media, Law and Policy exists to examine the processes of restructuring media and telecommunications structures from various perspectives; to provide a framework for understanding the background, mechanisms, and prospects of the processes of media restructuring; and to help provide a new generation of scholars and policymakers with a sharpened comparative insight into the problems of adjustment of technology to society.
