Significant policy change regarding interconnection was achieved through intensive training and work with the Regulator during the project, as well as the creation of an Internet Advisory Council, acceptance of a Statement of Principles for Internet Development in Algeria by key govenrment agencies and stakeholders, and assisting the Algerian Muslim Scouts with creation of an Internet merit badge, which can be earned by male and female members of the scouts.
