The World Resources Institute (WRI) has developed web-based and other digital tools to support its environmental work, including the Global Forest Watch, the Access Initiative, and New Ventures. The WRI Digital Dividends Conference in 2000 convened major ICT companies to develop new business models that can overcome the digital divide.
