Full Description: dot-GOV worked with a senior Venture Capitalist to implement a two-phase program for IT CEOs on how to develop and benefit from creating international business plans. The first phase was carried out in Hanoi, where participants were trained on how to forge relationships with US companies during a two-day seminar. As a follow up, 10 senior executives were chosen from diverse IT companies, based on the strengths of their specific companies in doing business with the U.S., to travel on a business linkages tour in Washington, DC. During the tour, the companies were trained in areas of business development before introducing them to U.S. companies. Each delegate was assisted in the follow-up activities with the companies they met with during the trip.
Update: Completed in 2003.
