Full Description: This pilot project to the Center to Bridge the Digital Divide, Washington State University supplements the [email protected] project budget to fund editing of a book of ICT case studies from all over Africa, published by McGraw Hill-Tata. The book was successfully launched during Fall 2003, and has been distributed widely, including the 2003 World Information Summit (WSIS).
Update: Completed 2004. The marketing plan for the AfricaDotEdu book included coordinated release of an announcement of the book to a broad range of electronic communities interested in the use of ICT in Africa's Higher Education. A website was developed: AfricaDotEdu web site (http://www.africadotedu.org). The book is available at http://wsupress.wsu.edu
